NL Transaction July 14th


The Brooklyn Dodgers activated catcher Roy Campanella from the Disabled list today. Campanella was hitting .329 with 18 homers and 51 RBI when he was placed on the DL June 29th.

 

NL Transaction July 13th


The St Louis Cardinals sent 25 year old righthander Gordon Jones to triple A. Jones came up last season and was (2-7) with a 4.48 ERA in 10 starts and 78 innings. He started the season in the rotation but struggled all year posting a (2-7) record with a 6.79 ERA in 9 starts and 57 innings.
