Billy Loes tossed a complete game as the Brooklyn Dodgers defeated the
Milwaukee Braves by a score of 5 to 2 at County Stadium.

Milwaukee was unable to claim the lead after Brooklyn went ahead in the top of
the 7th inning plating an isolated run. Brooklyn had only 4 hits for the
afternoon.

The winning pitcher was Loes(2-1) who allowed 2 runs for the game. Bob
Buhl(3-1) was the losing pitcher. He allowed just 3 hits and 3 walks in 8
innings.

Brooklyn now has a record of 16-11. With the loss, Milwaukee has a record of
5-5 lately, 19-8 overall.
