Herb Score pitched 6 strong innings at Fenway Park as the Cleveland Indians,
running on all cylinders, ripped the Boston Red Sox by a large 12 to 0
margin.

Dave Philley provided the offensive punch. He bombed a two-run dinger (his
1st of the season) in the 3rd inning and doubled which was good for two runs
in the 4th inning. Cleveland kept the pressure on throughout the contest as
they scored in 6 different innings.

The win was credited to Score(6-0) who went 6 innings allowing no runs. Ray
Narleski recorded the save, his 2nd. Willard Nixon(2-4) was the losing
pitcher. He allowed 7 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings.

Comments:
In real life the Indians beat the Sox 19-0 with the same amount of hits by both teams.
