AL transaction May 30
The Baltimore Orioles sold 3B/OF Bob Kennedy to the Chicago White Sox today. Kennedy is hitting .338 in 26 games with 11 RBI. Last year he hit .206 with 8 HR and 31 RBI in 95 games for the Orioles.
Outfielder Ed McGhee was sent down to make room for Kennedy. McGhee was hitting .071 in 14 games.
