The Milwaukee Braves pitching coach might be looking for a new job soon. His
team allowed 11 runs while Bob Rush(6-4)with the aid of the bullpen held
Milwaukee to 1 run in a laugher.

Dee Fondy was in a groove all day. He lined a base-hit in the 4th inning,
tripled clearing all three ducks off the pond. in the 5th inning and lofted a
three-run 'big-fly' (his 4th of the season) in the 7th inning. Overall
Chicago out-hit Milwaukee 13 to 8.

Lew Burdette(4-4) took the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 8 hits and 2
walks in 4 innings. 'It's just about getting in a good hitting position and
just going out there and being prepared,' Fondy said. 'You try to hit in your
own capacity and not do too much. I just try to have a good approach, day
after day, game by game, and pitch by pitch.'
