Frank House jacked one out of the ballyard and had 4 RBI at Briggs Stadium
where the Detroit Tigers beat the Chicago White Sox by the score of 11 to
6.

Detroit jumped on top of Chicago in the 2nd inning when they tallied 2 runs on
2 hits. Detroit rapped out 9 hits for the night.

Billy Hoeft(3-5) allowed 6 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Dick Donovan(5-2) was the losing pitcher. He was not very
effective, surrendering 5 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.
