Jim Wilson allowed only 2 hits resulting in a big goose egg on the scoreboard
for Boston as the Baltimore Orioles defeated the Boston Red Sox by a score of
4 to 0 at Memorial Stadium.

Wilson(2-4) was on top of his game. He allowed just 2 hits and 3 walks in 9
innings seeing his ERA drop from 3.86 to 3.23. Baltimore rapped out 7 hits
for the afternoon.

The loss was charged to Leo Kiely(1-2). 'We didn't have a whole lot of
chances today,' Pinky Higgins said. 'Wilson just was too much for our guys.'
