Billy Pierce was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Chicago White Sox outscored the Cleveland Indians 4 to
1.

Chicago delivered all the runs required in the 3rd inning when they scored 4
runs on 5 hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. After the 3rd
inning, neither team was able to score.

The winning pitcher was Pierce(4-2) who allowed 1 run for the game. Mike
Garcia(4-5) took the loss. He allowed 4 runs and 6 hits in 4 innings.
