Lary Doby's 3 run homer in the bottom of the 10th gives the Tribe a come from behind 9-7 win over the Orioles.

Center fielder Larry Doby touched them all and had 5 RBI as the Cleveland
Indians outscored the Baltimore Orioles in 10 innings 9 to 7.

The score was knotted at 6 after nine innings. Cleveland came out the victor
in the 10th inning. Jim Hegan opened up the inning nicely when he lined a
one-base hit. Ralph Kiner stepped up next and he grounded into a double
play. Al Smith then stroked a base-hit. Bobby Avila came up and he singled.
Doby came to the plate and clubbed a three-run home run (his 10th of the
season) resulting in a mighty exciting win for Cleveland and the 31,755 home
town fans in attendance. Cleveland banged out 16 on the night.

The victory went to Don Mossi(3-1) who went 1 inning, allowing 1 run. Don
Johnson(1-2) was hit with the loss in relief. He allowed 5 runs and 7 hits
in 1 and 2/3 innings.
