The Redlegs Art Fowler returns to action and beats Warren Spahn and the Braves 5-2 for his 5th win

Art Fowler was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game at Crosley Field where the Cincinnati Redlegs beat the Milwaukee Braves
by the score of 5 to 2.

Cincinnati jumped on top to stay in the 2nd inning plating an isolated run.
Cincinnati had a total of 10 hits for the game.

Fowler(5-1), allowing 2 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Warren
Spahn(4-4) was given the loss. He pitched 8 innings giving up 10 hits and 5
walks.
