Bob Grim completed the game without help from the bullpen at Municipal Stadium
where the New York Yankees beat the Kansas City Athletics by the score of 8
to 1.

New York jumped on top to stay in the top of the 2nd inning when they scored 2
runs on 1 hit. That early scoring was all that Grim(5-1) needed. New York
finished with 9 hits in the victory.

Art Ceccarelli(2-4) was the loser. It was another victory for New York at
Municipal Stadium. Now their winning streak stands at 6 games. 'I'm glad to
get the win', Grim said. 'We've got some good momentum going now.'
