NL Transaction June 4th
The Chicago Cubs recalled 27 year old rookie righthander Dave Hillman. Hillman had pitched 6 innings in 3 games with no record and a 4.26 ERA earlier in the season.
To make room 24 year old rookie right hander Hy Cohen was sent down. Cohen was 2-0 in 10 games, including one start. He had a 4.24 ERA in 17 innings pitched. Cohen would never pitch in the big leagues again.
