Ron Kline blanked Cincinnati in a very well-pitched complete game at Forbes
Field where the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Cincinnati Redlegs by the score
of 1 to 0.

Kline(2-7) was very good in the win. He didn't allow much, just 4 hits and 3
walks in 9 innings. Cincinnati threatened in the 9th but Pittsburgh was able
to put down the rally.

Rudy Minarcin(2-2) absorbed the loss. He pitched 7 innings and surrendered 4
hits and 5 walks.
