AL Trade June 6th

The Baltimore Orioles traded 30 yr old catcher Les Moss to the Chicago White Sox for 33 year old relief pitcher Harry Dorish.

Since entering the big leagues in 1946 when the team was the St Louis Browns, Moss has been with the same organization except for a brief stint with Boston in 1951. He was hitting .254 with 1 HR and 5 RBI in 59 AB's so far this season.

In his 9th major league season, and 5th with the White Sox, Dorish was 1-0 with a 2.60 ERA in 17 IP over 12 games so far this season. He had one save this year. Since 1950 he has always pitched over 90 innings in relief every year.
