AL transaction June 11th
The Kansas City Athletics activated starting pitcher Arnie Portocarrero from the diasabled list. The 23 year old righty was the Athletics best pitcher last year, 8-19 with a 3.71 ERA and 13 complete games. This year he was 1-2 with a 5.06 ERA in 4 starts before going on the DL May 11th.
