Gene Conley blanked Philadelphia in a very well-pitched complete game and
first baseman George Crowe lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 3 RBI as
the Milwaukee Braves defeated the Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 8 to 0
at County Stadium.

Conley(7-4) put on a good performance. He didn't give up much, just 6 hits
and 2 walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA from 3.63 to 3.29. Milwaukee
banged out 13 on the night.

Herm Wehmeier(5-3) was charged with the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 12
hits and 3 walks in 6 innings.
