Bob Buhl allowed Charlie Grimm to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game
and George Crowe blasted a homerun and had 2 RBI as the Milwaukee Braves
defeated the Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 4 to 2 at County
Stadium.

Milwaukee did all of it's offensive work in the 1st inning when they scored 4
runs on 3 hits. That early run support was enough for Buhl(8-2) and
Milwaukee. Milwaukee totaled 7 on the afternoon.

The loss was charged to Murry Dickson(3-5). He surrendered 7 hits and 2 walks
in 8 innings.
