Larry Doby homered for the 2nd straight game as the Indians beat the Red Sox 4-0 and sweep the doubleheader.

Center fielder Larry Doby went deep and had 2 RBI as the Cleveland Indians
defeated the Boston Red Sox by the score of 4 to 0 at Fenway Park.

Cleveland promptly took the lead in their half of the first as they scored 3
runs on 2 base hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. Cleveland
managed only 6 on the afternoon.

The victory went to Ray Narleski(4-0) who went 6 innings, allowing no runs.
George Susce(1-2) was the losing pitcher. He surrendered 6 hits and 5 walks
in 8 innings.
