1955 Strat replay

The Pittsburgh Pirates send down 32 year old pitcher Ben Wade. To replace him the Pirates called up 32 year old Cuban rookie pitcher Lino Donoso.

Wade, in his 5th major league season, was 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA over 28 innings pitched. Last year he pitched for both the Dodgers and the Cardinals.











Donoso, from Havana Cuba, will be making his major league debut in a start against the Redlegs June 18th.
