Walt Dropo launched 2 homeruns at Memorial Stadium where the Chicago White Sox
beat the Baltimore Orioles by the score of 4 to 0.

Chicago took the lead off Duane Pillette in the first inning scoring a single
run. After an out was recorded, Nellie Fox drew a walk. One out later,
George Kell stepped up to the plate and he doubled scoring the run. That
early run support was enough for Virgil Trucks(6-5) and Chicago. Chicago
finished with 9 hits while Baltimore ended up with 3.

Sandy Consuegra was credited with his 3rd save. Pillette(0-1) was given the
loss. He pitched 4 innings giving up 3 hits and 2 walks.
