Hank Aaron's two run blast helped the Braves to a 5-4 win over the Pirates extending their losing streak to 11 games.

Johnny Logan had 3 base hits as the Milwaukee Braves defeated the reeling
Pittsburgh Pirates 5 to 4 at County Stadium.

In the 3rd inning Milwaukee scored 3 runs when they had 4 base hits. The
crucial at-bat was provided by Hank Aaron who excited the crowd when he
smashed a two-run homer (his 15th of the season). Pittsburgh threatened in
the 9th but Milwaukee was able to put down the rally.

Gene Conley(8-4) got the win allowing 4 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. Ernie
Johnson earned his 3rd save. Vern Law(5-5) was charged with the loss. He
gave up 9 hits and 8 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.
