Joe Adcock's solo home run in the 7th gave the Braves a 3-2 win over the Pirates extending their losing streak to 12 games.

Eddie Mathews left the yard as the Milwaukee Braves topped the floundering
Pittsburgh Pirates by a score of 3 to 2 at County Stadium.

Ray Crone(3-2) was brilliant in relief and registered the victory. He gave up
just 2 hits and no walks in 3 innings lowering his ERA to 2.41. Pittsburgh
went down quietly in the 9th.

The loss was charged to Roy Face(3-3) in relief. He pitched 2 and 2/3 innings
giving up 2 hits and no walks.
