Art Houtteman pitched a complete game at Yankee Stadium as the Cleveland
Indians beat the New York Yankees 3 to 1.

Houtteman(1-3) was very good in the win. He didn't give up much, just 4 hits
and 3 walks in 9 innings improving his ERA from 3.97 to 3.35. Cleveland
banged out 9 on the afternoon.

Ed Lopat(4-5) was the losing pitcher. He gave up 9 hits and 1 walk in 8
innings.
