The Kansas City Athletics were finally were able to get back on the winner's
track and toppled the Baltimore Orioles by a 7 to 3 score at Memorial
Stadium.

Kansas City took the lead for good in the 4th inning scoring 3 runners on 4
hits. Kansas City had a total of 9 hits for the game.

Arnie Portocarrero(3-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 and 2/3 innings
and allowing 3 runs. Johnny Sain gained credit for his 2nd save. Saul
Rogovin(2-5) was given the loss. Kansas City scored big getting 6 runs off
him in 4 and 1/3 innings.
