Walt Dropo homered in his 3rd straight game as the White Sox sweep the doubleheader 7-2 over the Red Sox.

The Chicago White Sox had very little trouble at Fenway Park downing the
Boston Red Sox. The score was 7 to 2.

Walt Dropo had a big day against Boston. He delivered a base-hit plating two
runs in the 4th inning and smashed a two-run homer (his 12th of the season)
in the 6th inning. Chicago had 14 hits for the game and Boston had 8.

The win went to Bob Keegan(3-5) who allowed 2 runs in 6 innings. Tom
Brewer(7-6) was hit with the loss. He was touched for 12 hits and 2 walks in
5 innings.
