Clem Labine completed the game without help from the bullpen at Ebbets Field
as the Brooklyn Dodgers beat the New York Giants 9 to 1.

The game started off with Brooklyn taking the lead in the first scoring 5
runners on 5 hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. The pitchers
took over after the 4th inning as neither team was able to score again.

The victory was credited to Labine(5-1) who went the distance, allowing 1 run.
The loss was charged to Ruben Gomez(5-2).
