AL Transaction June 30th
The Chicago White Sox called up 32 year old Pitcher Connie Johnson.
Johnson did not pitch for Chicago in 1954. In 1953 he started 10 games and was 4-4 with a 3.56 ERA. Skipper Marty Marion plans to immediately put him in the starting rotation.
