Hank Aaron connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI as the Milwaukee Braves
defeated the Cincinnati Redlegs by a score of 8 to 5 at Crosley Field.

The Cincinnati fans didn't appreciate the big day Aaron had. He doubled
bringing in a run in the 1st inning, tripled in the 5th inning and blasted a
two-run home run (his 17th of the season) in the 7th inning. Cincinnati made
it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.

Bob Buhl(10-2) went 8 and 1/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Gerry
Staley(5-6) suffered the loss. He served up 3 homeruns in his 6 innings.
