Al Smith went yard and Herb Score whitewashed Chicago on 2 hits at Municipal
Stadium where the Cleveland Indians beat the Chicago White Sox by the score
of 4 to 0.

Score(11-2) was virtually untouchable. He didn't give up much, just 2 hits
and 4 walks in 9 innings. Cleveland had just 5 hits for the night.

Jack Harshman(5-5) was tagged with the loss. He pitched 5 innings and
