Jack Dittmer smacked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Gene Conley pitched a
complete game at Wrigley Field where the Milwaukee Braves beat the Chicago
Cubs by the score of 8 to 6.

Dittmer led the offense for Milwaukee. He bombed a two-run dinger in the 2nd
inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his 3rd of the season) in the 8th
inning. A wild and woolly affair, this game saw the lead change 5 times.

The victory went to Conley(9-5) who went the distance allowing 6 runs. Bob
Rush(8-8) took the loss. Milwaukee now has a record of 49-28. With this
loss, Chicago has a 5-5 record of late, 38-43 overall.
