AL Transaction July 8th
The Detroit Tigers signed Joe Coleman as a free agent. Coleman, a 32 year old righthander had been released by the Orioles on July 6th. He was 10-15 with a 3.09 ERA last year in 224 innings pitched. This season the 10 year veteran was 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA in 12 innings.
