AL Transaction July 9th
The Baltimore Orioles released Wally Westlake. The 34 year old outfielder was in his 9th season and his 6th team, 2nd this year. Last season Westlake hit .272 with 10 homers and 33 RBI in 268 plate appearances for the World Series winning Indians. This year he was traded from Cleveland to Baltimore on June 15th and was hitting .067 with 1 RBI in 53 plate appearances.
