AL Transaction July 15th
The Detroit Tigers sent rookie righthander Duke Maas to Triple A today. Maas, 26 years old, was (4-5) with a 4.17 ERA in 15 starts and 82 innings pitched. Tiger skipper Bucky Harris was heard saying that he expected the young man to be back but that Maas needed to work on his endurance. The young Tiger hurler was averaging less than 6 innings per start.
