AL Transaction July 16th
The Chicago White Sox placed 34 year old righthander Bob Keegan on the disabled list today. Keegan, who was (10-10) with a 3.65 ERA last season in 27 starts, has struggled immensly this year. With a (3-5) record and 7.17 ERA the Sox could not afford to wait for Keegan to pitch through his sore arm anymore. He has only tossed 38 innings so far this year in 11 games, 6 of those starts.
