AL Transaction July 17th
The Chicago White Sox claimed Gil Coan from the Baltimore Orioles on waivers. Coan, a 33 year outfielder, is in his 10th major league season. After 8 seasons with Washington, Coan hit .240 with one homer and 22 RBI in his 1st year with Baltimore last season. This season he is hitting .235 with one homer and 15 RBI in 143 plate appearances.
