AL Transaction July 19th
The Kansas City Athletics sent down 28 year old lefthander Lou Sleater to triple A today. Sleater, pictured here with Washington, is in his 4th major league season, but 1st since 1952. He has struggled all year with an 0-2 record and a 13.32 ERA over 25 2/3 innings pitched.
