AL Transaction July 19th
The New York Yankees activated middle infielder Jerry Coleman from the disabled list. In his 7th big league season (all with the Yankees), the 30 year old Coleman was hitting .227 in 22 at bats before going on the DL. Last season he hit .189 with 3 homers and 29 RBI in 327 plate appearances.
