AL Transaction July 20th
The Cleveland Indians placed 34 year old starting pitcher Bob Lemon on the disabled list today. Lemon is in his 12th major league season, all with Cleveland, and is expected to be out until mid August. Last season he was (21-11) with a 3.17 ERA and 17 CG's in 33 starts for the World champs. This year he has struggled a bit with a (9-9) record and 4.43 ERA in 21 starts. In his last start yesterday the Washington Nationals tallied 7 times off him in 1 2/3 innings pitched.
