AL Transaction July 21st
With the injury to Bob Lemon (placed on the DL yesterday), the Cleveland Indians called up 26 year old righthander Jose Santiago. Santiago pitched 2 scoreless innings last year in his major league debut, the only game he has appeared in. Tribe skipper, Al Lopez, plans to use him strictly in relief.
