NL Transaction July 20th
The Pittsburgh Pirates recalled 24 year old pitcher Dick Hall from Triple A. Hall is making the transition from outfielder to pitcher beginning this year. His 1st 3 years with the Pirates he was strictly an outfielder. Last year he hit .216 with 3 homers and 28 RBI in 343 plate appearances. This year he pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings in one appearance before going down on the farm May 19th.
