Dick Donovan allowed Marty Marion to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game

as the Chicago White Sox defeated the New York Yankees by the score of 5 to 3

at Comiskey Park.



Donovan(12-4) earned his pay with a solid performance for Chicago. He went 9

innings allowing 6 hits and 4 walks. Both teams ended up with 6 on the

night.
