The Philadelphia Phillies called up 26 year old shortstop Mickey Micelotta. He made his major league debut last season getting 1 hit in 2 AB's with 2 walks. Phillies skipper Mayo Smith said he plans to use Micelotta to cover some of the playing time of injured Granny Hamner.
