Left fielder Andy Pafko had 2 base hits at County Stadium as the Milwaukee

Braves beat the New York Giants 7 to 4.

Milwaukee brought 6 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 7th inning.

The big moment was provided by Hank Aaron who excited the crowd when he

brought the hometown folks to their feet with a Grand Slammer (his 24th of

the season). Despite losing, New York out-hit Milwaukee 9 to 5.

The victory went to Ray Crone(4-5) who went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs. Johnny

Antonelli(8-8) was the loser. He was knocked around, surrendering 7 runs in

6 and 2/3 innings.

The Milwaukee ballclub's record now stands at 62-38. Lou Durocher was pretty

down after the loss. 'We've really been sputtering along lately, something

like 2-8 in the last week or two. That won't get it done.'
