Cloyd Boyer completed the game without help from the bullpen at Griffith

Stadium where the Kansas City Athletics beat the Washington Nationals by the

Boyer(6-3) earned his pay with a solid performance for Kansas City. He went 9

Bob Porterfield(5-10) was charged with the loss. He was hit hard and gave up
