NL Transaction July 26th
The Philadelphia Phillies sent down 26 year old righthander Thornton Kipper. In his 3rd Major League season, Kipper was 1-0 with a 2.95 ERA over 40 relief innings for this years edition of the Phillies. Last season he was 0-2 with a 13.20 ERA over 15 innings pitched.
