Field.
Jones(10-9) had a strong outing. He didn't give up much, just 4 hits and 4
walks in 9 innings. Chicago finished with 12 hits in the victory.
Saul Rogovin(0-3) was the loser. He was knocked around, surrendering 6 runs
in 3 and 1/3 innings. Jones was jubilant in the hometown clubhouse, 'It was
a lot of fun out there. The fans gave me a lot of support as did my
teammates. We got the victory and I'll sure take 10 strikeouts anytime!'
