Paul Minner tossed a complete game at Wrigley Field where the Chicago Cubs

beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 3 to 2.



Minner(8-7) earned his pay with a solid performance for Chicago. He

surrendered 9 hits and no walks in 9 innings. Neither team managed to score

after the 4th inning.



The loss was charged to Dick Hall(1-2). With this win, Chicago has a 55-52
