Hank Aaron blasted 2 homeruns as the strong Milwaukee Braves staged a dramatic

comeback over the Brooklyn Dodgers by a score of 15 to 13 at County

Stadium.

Milwaukee erupted with the game winning runs in the 9th inning when they

tallied 6 runs on 4 hits. The key at-bat was by Aaron who made the crowd

happy when he caught a hold of a fastball for a Grand Slam homerun (his 28th

of the season). Milwaukee lit up the scoreboard in the 9th inning which saw

them plate 6 runs on 4 hits. Milwaukee had 19 hits for the afternoon while

Brooklyn had 16.

The victory was credited to Phil Paine(1-0) who went 2 innings, allowing 3

runs. Clem Labine(7-4) was hit with the loss in relief.

'We just wouldn't give up,' Aaron said. 'Much of the credit goes to our fans -

they were with us the whole way.'
