Ike Delock was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete

game as the Boston Red Sox defeated the Detroit Tigers by a score of 11 to 3

at Fenway Park.



Boston set the tone of the game in the first inning scoring one runner.

Boston managed 14 in their victory.



The victory was credited to Delock(7-4) who went the distance, allowing 3

runs. Billy Hoeft(11-8) was the loser. He surrendered 10 hits and no walks

in 6 innings.



The Boston ballclub's record now stands at 55-48. With the loss, Detroit has

a record of 7-3 lately, 53-49 overall.
