NL Transaction August 3rd
The Brooklyn Dodgers activated 31 year old righthander Russ Meyer from the disabled list today. In his 10th major league season, Meyer will start todays important matchup with Milwaukee. Placed on the DL June 27th, Meyer is 4-2 with a 3.49 ERA in 57 IP (8 starts). Last season he was 14-9 with a 3.32 ERA in 28 starts.
